A sheep wearing a festive holiday sweater was found wandering the streets of Omaha.
The sheep, named Gage, is often walked on a leash and shares a barn with two chickens at home.
This is the first time Gage has escaped, his owner said, and he will now be spending more time inside to prevent this from happening again.

First Test Tube Penguin Born
Penguin "184" was hatched at San Diego Sea World.
The chick was hatched 12 weeks ago and is the first penguin to be successfully produced through artificial insemination.
This technology could greatly help the penguin, which, due to oil spills, is considered a "near threatened" species.
It is also intended to increase genetic diversity in captive penguin populations.

Light Shown on Black Seadevil
The Black Seadevil, a type of anglerfish, was caught on camera at a depth of 1,900 feet.
This is significant, as this fish has been seen only a dozen times and even less often alive.
Anglerfish are known for their famous "light bulb" attachment.
The ocean is filled with mysteries.

Controller Draws Blood
A new device, called Bloodsport, draws actual blood anytime the user is shot in the video game.
The aim of this product is to amp up blood donations and to make gaming more of a challenge.
The device measures how much blood has already been taken to ensure that 'it powers off before you do."
Thus far, only $3,000 of the $25,000 needed to kick start the project has been raised.

Poo-Pourri, a toilet deodorizing company, is kicking off the holiday season with a new ad, featuring Santa in his natural state.
In the ad, Santa decides to relieve himself in a British home he has just delivered presents to.

French Toilet Change
French ministers of housing and ecology announced a change to a current French law requiring toilets to be kept separate from living and eating/cooking areas.
The announcement, published in the French government's official journal, will now allow French citizens to install toilets in their kitchens and living rooms, if they so choose.
The ministers said the change is a step toward simplifying French regulations. It will go into effect December 1st.
I think the real question is, why was this a problem in the first place?

Man Surfs Dead Whale
An Australian man decided to "surf" a floating dead whale carcass.
Harrison Williams was on a boat with his friends when they saw the floating whale.
Williams jumped on it and began trying to surf it because his friends thought it would be funny, he said.
Little did he know that there were feeding sharks surrounding the body, including at least one great white.
Luckily, the sharks were too busy feeding to notice Williams and he was collected by his friends unharmed.
He says he regrets the decision.

Model Has a 16-inch Waste
Model Kelly Lee Dekay has shrunk her waste down to a mere 16 inches, just one inch short of a world record.
Dekay uses corsets to shrink her waste, which leaves very little room for her internal organs.
This also makes doing excercise dangerous, but Kelly takes it easy, she says.
She has hiked in her corset, pushing herself to her limits, however.
Sounds like a squeeze.

Due to their environmental impact, spiny saltwater lobsters are illegal in South Africa.

Black Lab Allergic to Humans
An Indianapolis dog's skin condition was found to be associated with an allergy to humans.
After a blood test, veterinarians determined that the dog is allergic to human dandruff, much in the same way that humans can be allergic to dog dander.
Vets suspect that the condition is curable and are treating the dog with allergy serums.
Hopefully life won't be too rough for this pup.

Pot Candy Concerns Denver
Now that marijuana is legal in Colorado, concerns are being raised about the drug being distributed to children through trick-or-treat candy.
Police have released an informational video describing how to tell "pot candy" from regular candy. They are also advising parents to toss any candy that isn't associated with a major brand.
Police also noted that some recreational sellers will buy cheap candy in bulk and then spray it with hash oil, at which point it is indistinguishable from regular candy.
Halloween's about to be dope.

Coast Guard Rescues Bubble Man
A man was pulled from the ocean by Coast Guard officials after he attempted to float from Florida to Bermuda in a plastic bubble.
The man, an Iranian exile, began suffering from fatigue prior to being rescued.
He had previous accomplished many running feats, including running the perimeter of the United States.
The bubble was made of plastic and aluminum and functioned similarly to a hamster wheel.

Chef James Thomlinson has created a "human flesh burger" in celebration of the upcoming fifth season of "The Walking Dead."
The burgers are not actually human meat, but Thomlinson paid close attention to the reports on cannibals to craft his burger.
The burger is made of a combination of veal, pork, chicken liver, and bone marrow to create the sweet, mature veal taste that cannibals have described.
I mean, who hasn't wondered why zombies crave us so hard?

New-Mexican Singing Road
In New Mexico, a "singing road" has been constructed in an attempt to get drivers to obey the speed limit.
Rumbling strips built into the road create a melodic tune when driven over, but only if driven over at the appropriate speed.
The hope is that drivers will slow down and enjoy the melody while increasing their safety at the same time.
This road could also aid under-slept drivers who begin to fall asleep at the wheel.
I wonder how much this would cost?
